- The department offers four years Bachelor of Technology degree. The maximum capacity of the department in a batch is 30 students per batch. The admission to the degree course can be done only through the JEE Mains score. The department also invites admission for M.Tech. and Ph.D. The department has well qualified faculties and well equipped laboratories. The aim of this department is to yield high class international level engineers. NIT, Manipur started its first session on 1st August, 2010. This institute is under MHRD. It has been established under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989. (Regd. No. 425/M/SR/2010).
