- The world moves because IT propels it forward. Its no doubt the era of Information Technology, where knowledge and information are controlled by technology. The course is designed to serve a wide community by creating diverse educational opportunities and deals with the utilization & networking of computers, telecommunication business and technology management in the context of internet. The department has been giving importance to the development of computer laboratories by procuring the state-of-the-art hardware and licensed software. At present the department has installed high end systems connected to servers that include VMWARE Server, Linux servers and Windows 2008 of high end servers, upgradation of the system by way of memory enhancements and procurement of licensed software on the latest tools are planned and executed from time to time. In addition to the classroom teaching, the students are exposed to guest/extension lectures by eminent persons in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
