About Department:
The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the academic year 2004 – 05 with an annual intake of 120 seats.
The department is headed by Prof.R.Lokanadhom who has 35 years of teaching and research experience.He has published 10 Textbooks and presented 20 technical papers at national level. The department has 20 faculty members meeting AICTE norms of 1:15 faculty student ratio. 100% of the faculty members are postgraduates and few of them have registered for Ph.D. The department has seven supporting staff for laboratories and department office.
The department has state-of-the-art CAD/CAM Lab with SOLID WORKS & ANSYS Sofwares and CAM Lab with latest XL TURN CNC trainer lathe .
