    About The Department

    The Department is well-equipped with laboratories i.e. Digital Design, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessor, Analog & Digital Communications, Electronic Circuits, and VLSI Design which cater to program needs. Adequate numbers of computers with required software and EDA tools are available. The Department has extensive and fruitful interactions with the industry, R & D organizations and other professional bodies, the interactions with them culminate into professional activities, research agendas.An excellent academic environment is available for creative and productive work both for faculty as well as students. 
    VLSI
    The objective of the course is to mould fresh electronics engineers and to upgrade working engineers into world class professional by enhancing their knowledge and skills in various hardware and software design aspects of VLSI and ASIC design methodologies. This course offers a range of topics of immediate relevance to industry and makes the students exactly suitable for industries engaged in VLSI design and chip development. This course is also an excellent preparation for those wishing to engage in application research in this rapidly developing area.
    Communication Systems
    The objective of the programme is to mould fresh electronics engineers and to upgrade working engineers in the areas like Mobile, Wireless, Satellite, Optical and Computer Communication Systems & Networks; Signal Processing; Spread Spectrum Communication & error control coding techniques. Advance level courses like Wireless Communication and Networks, Adaptive Signal Processing, DSP Processors, Fiber Optic Communication, Artificial Neural Networks and Wavelets are taught.
