About Us Department of BS&H at Vignans IIT has been active in teaching and research since its inception in 2002. Currently, about 69 committed faculty members are working in the department.BS & H Department plays a vitol role in oder to bridge the gap between schooling and professional studies.
Message from HOD

We are very happy and proud to be associated with Vignan Educational Institutions and we are thankful to our Chairman Dr.L.Rathaiah Garu, to recognize Basic Sciences and Humanities as one of the Departments in VIIT.

Team work works, as a BS&H Department, we completed eleven successful academic years under the Guidance of Chairman Dr.L.Rathaiah, former Principals. Dr.A.Arjuna Rao, Prof.A.Sesha Rao, Present Principal Dr.K.Alice Mary, Founder and former HOD Dr.I.S.V.Manjula and with the support of young and dynamic faculty of our Department.

Three of our staff members are doctorates, five staff members are pursuing Ph.D and three staff members are pursuing M.Tech. Moreover four of our staff won gold medals for academic excellence. With this strong academic back ground and experience we have been producing outstanding results year after year.

We are really lucky to have such a great hardworking and dedicated faculty in the department, whose services are highly appreciable. As a part of our Vignan Systems, each one of us pay special attention towards students` development at I B.Tech level. Out of best efforts of our Department Staff at each and every stage we secured Rank in top five positions of the university.

Our staff received highest number of prathibha awards for outstanding academic performance, cash awards, Vijetha awards, Visista Seva awards at college level and many more at University level. Our Department Staff is involved at College level works like exam cell coordinators, in-charges, Training & Placement Cell coordinators, College Level programme coordinators,etc.
