Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60 in B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), besides an additional 20% under lateral entry scheme.
The Department is ably supported by 12 Faculty members, all with M.Tech Qualification, maintaining 1:15 Faculty: Student ratio and the department is supported by non-teaching staff. The placement record of the department has always been impressive.Facilities and activities in the Department:
Department has well equipped laboratories and the department has been organizing a number of short-term training programs, seminars, workshops, guest lectures by experts and student fests frequently. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in short-term courses and workshops by the management of the college.It organizes Seminars, Quiz Programmers, Industrial Visits, Paper Contests, Group Discussions, Guest Lectures, Career Guidance, Games etc., under its auspices.
Students are encouraged to present papers and participate in seminars conducted in other engineering colleges and premier institutes. Industrial tours are arranged for students to obtain exposure to industries. Many of our alumni are pursuing their higher studies in IITs, NITs and globally reputed universities. Good number of students is being placed in reputed companies every year through campus placements.
