- About Electronics and Communication Engineering Students are introduced to the concepts of modern electronic devices, telecommunication, computer networking, control systems, microcontrollers etc. This department offers hands on training to the students to meet the requirements of the industry in well equipped and hi-tech laboratories with state of the art instruments and equipments under the guidance of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. img-ece This Department provides an environment where young minds can grow to their full potential and become strong, principled and committed Citizens of the Country. The Department has 20 well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty of which most of them are having P.G qualification in different streams. Some of the faculty are pursuing PhD. The Department has good infrastructure with different labs namely Electronics Device and Circuits Lab, IC & PDC Lab, AC &DC Lab, Microwave & Optical Comm. Lab & Simulation Lab, All the labs are fully equipped to cater the present day technology. Simulation lab is fully equipped with necessary systems and software. The Department of electronics and communication engineering came into existence in 2006 immediately when the institute was founded. Electronics Engineering is a challenging profession concerned with the design, development, fabrication and control of the electronic devices upon which our technological society largely depends. Electronics engineers utilize their knowledge of device and system design in multitude of areas. It offers currently four year B.Tech degree program in Electronics and Communication Engineering with annual intake of 180 and two year M.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 18 & Diploma 60. The Department aims at training up young men and women for careers in engineering synthesizing conventional and modern engineering thinking with a global outlook. The academic program that the department offers focuses itself on an innovative design that blends creativity and analytical skills, system orientation and process oriented learning. The department strives to deliver quality education and to keep pace with the changes, growth and advances in the area of in Electronics and Communication Engineering with the help of the existing committed and competent faculty, high quality infrastructure and good learning environment. The laboratories of ECE department includes Basic electronics laboratory, digital electronics laboratory. Electronics Engineering laboratory, Computer Simulation laboratory, Communication Engineering laboratory, Microprocessor laboratory, VLSI laboratory, Microcontroller laboratory, Microwave and Optical Communication laboratory and Digital Signal Processing &Image processing laboratory. The department is equipped with a department library that has a wide collection of books research papers, thesis, and project reports, national and international journals and so on.
