- About Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering is a board field of engineering that involves the application of physical principles for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The system can be as simple as the design of chair for comfort or as complex as the operations of a turbocharged engine for speed. It can be as small as the manufacturing of nano sized gear or as large as the structure of a super tanker used to carry oil around the world. The department has a rare blend of dynamic youngsters guided by a group of eminent and experienced professors. img-mech The Mechanical Department commenced functioning from the year 2011 with an intake of 60 at under graduate level. The mechanical engineering has well qualified and experienced faculty. The specialization of the department are in the areas of design, CAD/CAM, AMS. All the faculty posses the qualifications of post graduation. The Mechanical Engineering drawing upon its strength of highly qualified, well trained faculty, state of art infra structure, innovative teaching methodology regular student counseling sessions plays the role of a catalyst in sharpening the skills of an average student.
