- DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Mission To create intellectually stimulating environment for learning, research and promotion of professional and ethical values, to develop a sense of responsibility, discipline and interest amongst students in various activities leading to the welfare of the industry and society at large and to empower the students through lifelong learning for self up-gradation and societal upliftment. Vision To contribute to the nation, by delivering quality education and creating globally competent professionals to serve the industry and society. Short Term Goals Emphasis on faculty-growth by registration of all faculty members for higher qualifications. Expansion of laboratory facilities. To increase the involvement of faculty members in research activities. To undertake appropriate sponsored projects from various agencies from the enhancement of Technical Education in the country. To conduct in house training and Industry Institute interaction programmes to upgrade the knowledge of faculty and Staff. To develop relevant learning resources like text books, laboratory manuals, self learning modules etc. Highlights Keeping the objective of imparting quality technical education and creating effective professionals, the department of Electrical Engineering was established in 1986 and has been accreditated since 2004. The department organized a workshop,Impact of Industrial Innovations on Technological Development of Chhattisgarh on 11 to 12 September 2015. The Department has Experienced and well qualified Faculty & Support Staff. Post graduate program in Industrial Drives and Controls. Well equipped laboratories with modern state of art equipment, modern computer centre with full internet connectivity. Overall development of the students through various guest lectures and industrial visits. Faculty and students involvement in various social activities and extracurricular activities. Vibrant Student-staff relations.
