- It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Chemical Engineering Department. The department was established in 1983 with the mission of creating technically sound chemical engineers for fulfilling industrial needs. Since then the department has been continuously evolving to meet the new challenges. With twelve highly educated faculties along with four technical staff, the department is well equipped with modern equipments with computer interface. Every semester experts from industries are invited to deliver lectures and guide the students. Preparatory lectures are arranged for GATE appearing students and remedial lectures are arranged for underperforming students. The renowned industries like Supreme Petrochemicals Ltd., Finolex Industries, Vinati Organics, Gharda Chemicals Ltd., Indian Oxalate, Aarti drugs have been visiting for the campus recruitment. The department has separate computing facility with ASPEN Plus software. Learning resources are made available to students through online journals and department library. Industrial visits and trainings are arranged for students to make them familiar with industrial environment. Chemical Engineering Students Association (ChESA) promoted by department, provides platform to students for co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as group discussion, paper presentation, technical quiz, sports and blood donation. In this era which is marked by competitiveness, the success of organization depends upon the collective efforts from Management, Faculty and Students.
