Civil Engineering is the oldest and basic Engineering Discipline. Civil Engineering program involve a wide variety of fields such as Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Material Science, Remote Sensing and Construction Management.
The Department of Civil Engineering comprises of Laboratories like Concrete Technology Lab, Survey Lab, Geology Lab, Testing of material Lab, Geo-Technical Lab, Model Room. Fluid Mechanics Lab consisting of Wind Tunnel, Hydraulic Flume, Electrical Analogy Apparatus, Pelton, Francis and Kaplan Turbines. The Civil Workshop is equipped with a computerized universal testing machine and digital compression testing machine for material testing. All the laboratories are equipped with latest equipments with Charts, Models, oftwares and audio/visual demonstrations.
