- The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology & Management was formed in 2002. The foundation stone was laid on 15th August of this year. The first undergraduate batch passed out in the year 2006, Currently the department has nearly 360 undergraduate students (B.Tech.) with intake 90 students per year. Since its inception, the department has always been recognized all over the country for excellence in research and teaching. The Department provides an outstanding research environment complemented by superior teaching for its students to flourish in. Graduates from the department are heavily recruited by both academia and industry. DIATM has started functioning from 2002 with Computer Science and Engineering as one of the streams. This department has 90 students in each batch. There are 17 full-time faculty members and 6 technical assistants. The minimum qualifications of the faculties are M.Tech or M.E. degree. Moreover, many of them are in the process of advancing their career further. Some of the fields where the faculties are working are:
