- The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established from the inception of the institute in the year 2008. The department offers one under graduate B.Tech. (E.E.E) programme and one Post Graduate (M.Tech) programme in "Power Electronics" specialization. The department has been continuously striving for excellence in engineering education by well designed, constantly reviewed program to incorporate all advancements in existing and emerging technologies which gives the students a holistic and sensible view of the present scenario of the Electrical industry. Vision To develop a program that excels in education and research in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mission To impart high quality technical education and training in Electrical and Electronics Engineering on students to help them to become successful in industry or research and serve the society. To impart excellent knowledge and skills in emerging technology to the students To upgrade the labs with the current technology To organize training programs / workshops for upgrading staff and student performance. Academics: The under graduate program imparts students with professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering besides expert in mathematics, physics, computers, measurements and instrumentation are the essential need for any flourishing electrical engineer. Students gain practical experience from field visits to electrical machine manufacturing industries, power generating stations, substations and power grid corporations Faculty The Department has always been on a high growth path and has experienced and dedicated faculty with strong commitment towards engineering education who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to the students in order to help them excel in todays competitive environment and to keep pace with the current technological trends. Laboratory facilities The Department has good infrastructural full-fledged laboratories like Electrical circuits laboratory Electrical machines -1 laboratory Electrical machines-2 laboratory Control systems laboratory Power electronics laboratory Electrical measurements laboratory Electrical simulation laboratory with MATLAB, Cadence Tools (PSPICE), Wireless LAN Network and Electromagnetic Simulator software.
