The Department of Science and Humanities was started in the year 2008. The department aims to provide quality education, research and professional experiences that enable our graduates to become leaders in their professional careers, to pursue excellence in research, and to serve the profession, community and nation, and to be competitive in the international scene. The department pulls out all stops to create outstanding engineers with advanced teaching techniques and learning aids for the students. Students are not only made experts in technical aspects but also in interpersonal skills, a vital ingredient to excel in the fast-paced world. Vision The Department of Science and Humanities is the gate way of Engineering Education; it provides unique Outcome Based (OB) learning experience in Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry and English , Life skills & Entrepreneurship to groom the students as globally accepted Technical Professionals. Mission To continually improve the infrastructure and training methods for curricular and co-curricular activities. To establish skill development centres and encourages entrepreneurship skills. To establish centre of excellence and broaden the students horizon of knowledge beyond the curriculum. To develop Life skills & behavioral training programs among the student community to become world class leaders for their chosen core field. Academics The undergraduate program imparts students with mastery in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Skills and Management skills essential requirements for any successful engineering graduate. Apart from these providing training in GREE, GATE, G-MAT etc., which are providing a way for higher education. Students gain practical experience from field visits.
