Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is headed by Prof. Mohammad Nasiruddin since 2014. He has done his M-Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in the field of Electronics Engineering. He has 20 years of teaching experience. During his curriculum Prof. Mohammad Nasiruddin have shown his potential in research & development by publishing more than 14 research paper in national & international Journal & Conferences.
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering was established in the year 1999 with intake 60. Now the intake is increased to 120. Department also started a PG course, M-TECH (Electronics & Communication Engineering) in 2014-15. Department of Electronics & Telecommunication is headed by Prof. Mohammad Nasiruddin. The department possesses experienced and qualified teaching faculties.
The Department came into existence with a mission of, “To provide value based technical education and to mold the character of the younger generation, through synthesis of science and spirituality, so that their earnest endeavor to achieve prosperity in life is matched by an ardent desire to extend selfless service to the society, each complementing the other”.
To prepare graduates who possess the necessary foundation required to take up gainful employment in core and allied sectors. The program provides knowledge necessary to comprehend fundamentals of communication engineering. The objective is also to develop communication skills and ethical values so that students can be successful professionals along with being socially responsible. To infuse self-learning and lifelong learning by engaging them in field work, live projects etc.
The Department is well equipped with 18 labs with total investment of about Rupees One Crore Five Lakhs Seven Thousand Five Hundred & Fifty Three. The major equipment’s include VHDL Kits, DSP Processor Kits, Software like MATLAB, MULTISIM, ULTIBOARD & MODELISM for VHDL, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics` FPGA Advantage digital design simulation, synthesis tool etc. Department takes pride in having sophisticated machines, such as the PCB designing machines. Department is having its own fully updated computer lab with internet facility. The department annually releases its newsletter “X- PRESS”.
The department has gained the distinction of producing merit holders with students appearing among the top University rankers. The Department has moved from strength to strength and has always tried to achieve academic excellence and has tried to inculcate the spirit of Research & Development among the faculty as well as students.
