Courses Offered
- Started in 1999 with an U.G. program, Post Graduate Masters Degree programme in Design Engineering was added in 2014. During the academic session 2015-16, our department received Research Centre status from University. Mechanical Engineering is the oldest, broadest and core engineering discipline. With a right blend of theory and practice in basics,the students are trained to have knowledge not only in their own technical field but also in wide interdisciplinary fields and ethics as well.

- Well-equipped state of art labs and complete infrastructure facilities.
- Rich team of well qualified, dedicated, highly competent faculties with specializations in diverse areas of Mechanical Engineering having an average teaching / industrial experience of 15 years & most of them pursuing Ph.D.
- We take a holistic approach of students development giving them exposure to the competitive industrial environment with different activities regularly planned throughout the year, like Student’s association ‘MESA’ & SAE (India) students’ chapter are made to inculcate event management & entrepreneurial skills amongst the students.
- ISHRAE Student’s chapter was formed to create awareness in HVAC thereby opening new opportunities.
- Students attended ACREX-2016 (world fair) in Mumbai and participated in Job Junction for placement in renowned core companies.
- Regular Events are organized by the department: In Oct 2015 – 2 week STTP on ‘Sustainable and Renewable Energy’, In Jan 2015 -‘Tech Saga-2K15’, In 2014 - First International Conference on ‘Advances in Engineering and Technology’ ‘ICAET-2014’, In 2013, ‘Radiance 2013’ work shop on “Automotive Power Train Engineering” in association with IIT Bombay & Experts Hub, In 2012 - ‘NCAET-2012’ National Conference on Advances in Engineering and Technology and many more.
- In addition to classroom teaching, our learning methods include holding, seminars, expert lectures and industry based projects.
- Regular training workshops of other relevant topics other than curriculum like Auto Cad, ANSYS are held.
- Industrial tour in Jan 2016 to Delhi, Gurgaon and Chandigarh to Subros, Hero Motor Corp. Ltd. Regular industrial visits to various local industries and authorized service stations of Tata, Mahindra, Ford, Hero and Honda were undertaken to augment their practical knowledge as well as to acquaint them with the latest in technology and industrial environment.
- ‘Parent-Teacher’s meet’ is organized regularly to interact, update parents and also to felicitate parents of meritorious students.
