- The 4 year degree course of Electrical Engineering, started in July 2008, has a curriculum with 81 courses/258 credits that include practical/ seminars/ training/ Projects etc. and it covers subjects on basic sciences, humanities & Technology. The course structure, syllabi for the branch are basically power system oriented and it encompasses theory papers like power system analysis, control, economics, protection, computer oriented analysis, industrial drives and control, high voltage engineering and other electives.
The various laboratories in the department include basic Electrical Engineering, electrical machines, electrical measurements and measuring instruments, analog and power electronics, micro-processors etc. to impart practical knowledge on the subject.Vision
