Civil Engineering Department is one of the first core branches established in 1986 with a mission of offering qualitative technical education and effective interaction with industries giving special emphasis on R & D and Consultancy. The department is running PG Courses in Structural Engineering and Environmental Science and Engineering. The department is proud of its learned and experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories and other infrastructure available. The department has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The department has been recognized as the Research Center by the University for offering PhD program in Civil Engineering. The alumni of this department are well placed in leading companies both in India and Abroad such as INFOSYS, TCS, SATYAM, MECON, SAIL, SAHARA, SHELL etc.
