• To keep faculty members abreast with the latest trends and developments in Research, Technology and Teaching methodologies especially through seminars from reputed institutes
• To enhance the participation of students and staff members in National and International seminars and conferences
• To arrange Special classes for rural students for improving their performance and Communication Skills.

• The Four Year degree course is permanently affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai which is the only Technical University in the state of Chhattisgarh.
• The Department conducts workshops and seminars by Industrialists to make students aware of the most recent technologies.
• Faculties are used to promote R&D activities among students and encourage them to participate in national and international workshops.
• Faculties of the department are also fulfilling the role of reviewers in various national and international journals.
