The department of Electrical (Electronics and Power) engineering was established in 2012-13 with the inception of the institute. It offers an undergraduate course in Electrical engineering with an intake capacity of 60 students. The department has well experienced faculty and staff published more than 60 research papers in national & international conferences in India & Abroad. The faculty of the deptt also chaired the international conference at Singapore. The faculty has filed one patent and also selected in national team of badminton representing Maharashtra state. The department has 10 most advanced and well equipped laboratories of about 25 laces, which are recognized by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati includes state of art facilities like Synthesis and Simulation software, Texas Instruments DSP kits, MATLAB & its toolboxes, c-programming,automation
The department is having 11 KV substation connected with continuous express feeder from 33KV distribution substation of MSEDCL. There is standby power capacity of 360 KVA diesel generators. It is planned to develop the department to provide good technical,professional,carrier oriented quality education .The department also provides the consultancy in designing, supervision, implementation of electrical works of industries, multispecialty hospitals multi-storied buildings and so on.
